Students and parents are welcome to visit our beautiful campus located in the Capital City, Columbia, South Carolina approximately six blocks from the historic location of the State House. A campus tour is one of the best ways to experience the atmosphere at Benedict College!
Campus tours will resume on our beautiful campus beginning November 9. In-person tours are currently limited to individuals with a maximum of three guests. Campus tours are available by appointment only. Advance registration is required to ensure campus safety and that a tour guide will be available. The guided tour will take about 45 minutes.
Tours will depart from the Chapel parking lot where you will be met by your tour guide. We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time.
Wear a mask, wash your hands, and maintain a 6ft. distance from others. We are working to keep our campus family and community safe and healthy. If you are not feeling well, have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 within 14 days of your visit, or have any COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home, and reschedule your tour!
Arrive 10 minutes early. Our tours leave at specific times and additional tour guides may not be available if you are late.
You will be walking around campus for about 45 minutes. Please wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for inclement weather.
Tours will remain outside of the buildings. You may want to bring water with you for the walking tour.
