The Health Center is staffed by experienced nurses and doctors with emergency treatment arrangement at a local hospital.
The Student Health Center offers quality health care, which recognizes the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of a diverse student population. Services include general medical care, allergy injections, first aid, gynecological care, referral to specialists and on site pharmaceuticals. Patients can expect a courteous reception, prompt treatment and appropriate health education from a health care team comprised of physicians, nurse practitioners and registered nurses.
Most of the services that are needed are available and the Health Center staff will make referrals for services not available. Our objective is to manage the care of every student who comes with a problem or seeks information about preventive care. Students that reside off campus must notify the Student Health Center by phone 803-705-4719 if they are unable to come in.
