COVID-19 Guidelines
- Masks/Face Coverings: Required only for those that have not provided proof of full vaccination. Those that have provided proof of full COVID-19 vaccination are not required to wear a mask/face covering on campus. However, everyone must follow local, state and federal laws that require masks/face coverings, including individual businesses that require it.
- Temperature Checks: Discontinued as a pre-requisite to enter campus at the security gate, dining areas, residence halls and college events.
- COVID-19 Testing: Will continue for those that have not provided evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination. Those that have provided proof of full vaccination are exempt from COVID-19 testing events.
- Classes: All students – those living in residential housing and off campus, are required to report to class in-person and as scheduled.
- Quarantine: BC will maintain a quarantine area for students that reside more than 150 miles from campus, have not received a COVID-19 vaccine and have contracted COVID-19. Any student that lives less than 150 miles from campus and must be quarantined will return to their permanent residence. In accordance with the CDC, those that have been fully vaccinated are exempt from quarantine and are asked to monitor their health conditions. BC faculty and staff see guidance from Human Resources.
- COVID-19 Signage in classrooms/common Areas: COVID-19 signage and other restricting boundaries have been removed from common areas and classrooms throughout campus.
- Dining Hall: The Dining Hall directional signage and restrictions have been removed and the Dining Hall and Food Court will return to normal capacity and dining hours Laurene’s will return to breakfast and lunch service.
- Remote Work: All those whose usual work location is on campus are required to work campus. Exceptions granted based upon supervisor and human resources approval.
- Classrooms: All those students in residential housing, as well as those living in off campus, are required to report to class in-person and as scheduled.
- Travel: Campus related travel will resume.
- Indoor/Outdoor Events: We expect that a majority of BC Tigers will be fully vaccinated, therefore we are preparing to return to normal capacity for indoor and outdoor events.
