As a first-generation college graduate, Mrs. Geddis was the first in her immediate family of six children—and among more than 70 first cousins—to earn a college degree, blazing a transformative trail through her attainment of a Bachelor of Arts from Benedict College. Established by Dr. Ashlye V.
