The nationally accredited Environmental Health Science (EHS) program offers a B.S. degree in EHS. The program prepares students for entry into graduate school and productive careers in the environmental public health sector.

Why EHS?

Individuals interested in a new and challenging career will find the Environmental Health Science Program quite attractive, with academic curricula designed for employment in industry and government agencies, environmental protection, research in environmental health science, public health, graduate studies in EHS, Public Health, Medicine, Pharmacy, or other professional schools.

Program Accreditation

The Environmental Health Science Program is nationally accredited by the National Environmental Health, Science and Protection Accreditation Council (NEHSPAC, aka EHA)

Graduate Placements

Our recent graduates are currently employed, attending, or have attended graduate schools at the following: Dominion Energy Company, SC Department of Natural Resources, University of South Carolina, Nephron Pharmaceuticals, Prisma Health, Richland County Housing Authority, Richland County Public Works Department, Savannah River Environmental Science Field Station, SC Department of Health and Environmental Control, Ritedose, and Samsung Electronics.
