Salary: $56,000 annually, plus benefits

Position Overview:

The Manager, Business Development and Client Support is a key leadership position at the Benedict College Women’s Business Center, dedicated to driving the success of small business clients through strategic development, tailored support, and comprehensive program management. This role is designed for a dynamic, results-driven professional with a deep commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs and small business owners. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision, operational expertise, and a passion for making a tangible impact on client success.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead the center’s efforts in ensuring client success, acting as the primary liaison for business consultations, and providing strategic advice and support to help clients achieve their business goals.

– Design and implement innovative programs and services that meet the evolving needs of small business clients, focusing on measurable outcomes and client satisfaction.

– Direct the planning, execution, and evaluation of workshops, seminars, and other professional development activities, ensuring they align with strategic goals and enhance client capabilities.

– Develop and refine metrics and systems for tracking client progress and program effectiveness, using data to drive decisions and demonstrate the center’s impact.

– Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations, industry experts, and stakeholders to enrich program offerings and extend support networks for clients.

– Champion the center’s mission through proactive outreach, advocacy, and engagement activities, increasing visibility and support for women entrepreneurs within the community.


– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or a closely related field; Master’s degree preferred.

– Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, client support, or program management, with a proven track record in driving client success in a non-profit, educational, or entrepreneurial setting.

– Exceptional leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams towards achieving strategic goals.

– Expertise in designing and implementing client-centric programs and initiatives, with a strong focus on results and impact.

– Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships across diverse groups.

– Strategic thinker with a knack for problem-solving, innovation, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
