The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) provides innovative, quality programs and services, and advocacy on behalf of Black journalists and media professionals worldwide. 

Mission

The mission of the Benedict College Association of Black Journalists (BCABJ) is to prepare members for their future careers in journalism while providing opportunities through professional and career development, networking events and community service.

Programs and Initiatives

  • Tutoring in Mass Communication writing courses
  • Monthly Events to network with media professionals and improve career readiness skills.
  • Membership in the Benedict chapter is free. The cost to be a student member of the National Association of Black Journalists is $40.
